SRC Member Clement Chen Posted July 29, 2016 SRC Member Share Posted July 29, 2016 It might not be ur maxspect. Last time i used maxspect i ran 100% blue and about 70% white along with 2 T5 tubes. Diatoms are caused by extra nutrients in your water as well as silicates. What are your nutrient export methods? and are you using tap water for water change?
