Can a BTA live in water around 29 degrees celcius?

Recommended Posts

I'm thinking of getting a BTA but my fish tank's temp is almost always 29 degrees C, so can i get a bubble tip anemone without worrying that it will die from temperature? I kept a yellow polyp colony before and a hammer coral inside, both lived for a few months fine, before i sold them. So I hope i can get a bta.

It is possible, but there's a high and definite chance that the anemone will bleach. I have kept them before at that temp, they are alive( feeding and expanding). But almost always, they bleach over time. It's better to get a chiller or a fan, so i would not advise you to get one unless you are able to decrease your temp.
