To commemorate my tank's first year, I've decided to create a thread here too. As of today, 23 march my tank reached maturity of 1 year old. Yay
Here are some of the details
1)Tank size: 4.5ft x 2ft x 2.25ft. 15mm,front crystal
2)Return pump: jebao DC-9000
3)China ATS
4)Currently running on AF system:
Phosphate minus + carbon + pro bio s + micro elements + ABVE
5)Biomedia: 5L siporax
6)Wave makers: 1x jecod CP40 + jebao rw15 (changing to another CP40)
7)Compressor in the cabinet, below main tank. Running on 25 degree celsius
8)Lights: 8x54W ATI dimmable sunpower + 2 LED strips
Here's my scape, made up of pure Tonga rocks sticked together with AF stone fix+epoxy+cable ties+BSI glue.

Measured my par, however this is without the led strips.

Hope to hear your feed backs and to learn as I've made many mistakes. If not for the seniors in this hobby, I would not have learned such valuable knowledge.

Unique scaping..whats the FTS of ur 1yo reef?

Unfortunately my tank faced a mini crash several weeks ago and I had lost many of my favourite SPS.

Here's some picture of my progression.

Nice! Would love to see the process of you doing up the scape!

Managed to dig up some photos.

Firstly I used stone fix to stick the first Tonga rock as a base.

Secondly,I added more stone fix to secure the base.

Thirdly, i started to build more branches using Tonga rocks.

Forth, I added epoxy and cable ties to those difficult pieces that can't hold together.

Fifth,I applied more stone fix to cover the cable ties.

Lastly, I used bsi glue to stick some C1 sand to cover the stone fix

So yeah, here you go haha

A Master art piece. BTW just wondering if fully loaded can the single/double Tonga able to support the weight.

Yup I did a pressure test first for each branch before spamming stone fix. I did not remove the cable ties which makes the structure stronger. Despite the thin bases, they are stronger than it looks so far there isn't any piece that broke when I stick or press it while placing the sps.

Hahaha! Thanks! Very nice process of doing the scape! How long did it take you to do this up?

By the way, where to get so many tonga sticks?
