Guys, I am planing to have mixed reef tank..

Please share your experience and tips on mixed reef tanks with some pics as well

currently it’s all LPS with high nitrate of 25-50, working on reducing my tank load from loads of LPS and 30 odd fish including 4 tangs. Planing to invest a bit on BP reactor.

Added few frags of SPS and couple of colonies they are doing great even at high nutrients.

It's same as bio pellets(no reactor just air stone...cubes filled with carbonates that bacteria eats then skim out. Refill depends on your tank nutrient

Glad to hear this product and thanks for sharing.

Your tank stand & piping seems interesting.  What's the filtration system like?

Yep it’s DIY stand & piping 1 1/2 inch .. using bio balls, skimmer refugium and return

That’s the pipe to sump.. the inlet is bit longer than in the pic.. had 2 of them.. planing to replace single 21/2 inch pipe to increase flow rate .. but bit concerned about sound and vibration.. need to give a try
