Coral Farm

Hi I just started a tank some weeks ago with only one fish, and I heard Coral Farm has a huge selection. However I saw a bunch of Facebook reviews saying that the employees tell them that the place is not for viewing, but I've heard others go there frequently to just look around and buy a fish or two. Can anyone tell me if it's fine to go? Cos I live all the way in Yishun and cab ride there is quite costly so Idw go all the way just to waste money haha

Thx a lot

Its a great place to visit & purchase live stock. Especially for fishes & invertebrates. No idea where the comment about "not for viewing" came from.

I had similar experince last month ...my first and last time... went with my wife and 2 children. My purpose was to have my wife to pick a show piece (last fish) for my tank. I was approached and told the place is not for public viewing. I left after telling the lady off. A waste trip !

Yes. Very nice place IMO. Never had any unhappy experience there.
Goes there twice a month at least.
Really depend on what you are looking for.
Only issue is that you need to cab in if never drive.
I know of people who walked all the way in from the bus stop. WOW!!!

I see, thx a lot guys
Also, I always see people talk about it like they only sell fish, do they sell corals also? Since it is called coral farm haha

Mostly fishes. They do have zoanthids, yuma, mushrooms & sea fans.

There is a quarantine room at the far end of the building where you need to be escorted in for viewing. Could this be where the misunderstanding arise?

Staying Yishun too. Also a little new to marine fishes. Don’t mind organising a trip down to view together.
Want to go take a look but read the reviews too so never go down.

Thinking go down there see see.
If really too ex then switch to fw back to the Ng couple. Haha. They spoil me with their prices.

Let me know if you two wanna go down together and check out the place.

Has been buying stuff since I started reefing. Still remember my friend who brought me there told me coral farm is ATAS and you get invoice for any purchase. One of the lfses that has separate quarantine room and consistent pricing. Their pricing don't follow demand and stick to their markup policy. If you visit lfses alot, you will.know that some of the pricing are cheapest in town. Certainly hope is a misunderstanding.

So many different views and experience.

I am happy with getting corals from fellow reefers given that I am back here after many years.
