Feelfreezeez
It's sad to hear that. .maybe try to quarantine the fish for some time before adding it to the main tank.. Think this beauty prefer tank with coral rather than flowers tank.. Good luck...

SRC Member christan1959 Posted August 18, 2018 SRC Member Share Posted August 18, 2018 Flame angels are pretty hardy Check your tank parameters. All livestock, including fish, require a stable environment with good bacteria culture. If your fish keep dying, probability of fault lies with your tank, rather the the fish. SRC Member PowderTang Posted August 19, 2018 Author SRC Member Share Posted August 19, 2018 Well if I buy from LFS, usually the survival rate not high as compared if I buy from reefers so far no luck with LFS

SRC Member Mike Stone Posted November 1, 2018 SRC Member Share Posted November 1, 2018 I hope you acclimatise the fish well before placing in main tank. The KH difference can be really harmful.Always get flame angel that feed on pallets than you buy them, else they are very finicky and only want to graze on algae on rock or tank wall. If they can fight for food in MT, than gg and die within a week.Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
