Looks like plating coralline algae. It should be hard(ie.not macroalge), but also note that it’s quite brittle. I accidentally broke mine bumping into it & was bumped out as they can form beautiful shapes & structures once established.

Google it to see if it looks similar to what you have. If so, it’s a good sign of a maturing tank
