SRC Member jem Posted May 15, 2019 SRC Member Share Posted May 15, 2019 Decided to go for an upgrade after playing with my IOS tank as i'm running out of aquatic real estate. Started the initial design on December 2018, went through lots of planning and brainstorm with experienced reefers. Settled on a 3 x 2.5 x 1.8 tank peninsula style. SRC Member jem Posted May 20, 2019 Author SRC Member Share Posted May 20, 2019 Bought the shadow overflow box from a bro Solo77 who was super kind to deliver to me. Made a trip to CRA to check on the final product.
SRC Member jem Posted May 20, 2019 Author SRC Member Share Posted May 20, 2019 Tank Delivered on 11/5. Almost made a big mistake, the cabinet with a 2.5ft width marginally slip in through my door. Any inch bigger and the cabinet cant enter the house.
SRC Member jem Posted May 20, 2019 Author SRC Member Share Posted May 20, 2019 Quick view of my sump from the living room side. Opted to go for the Clarisea SK5000 after hearing many great reviews about it. My choice of skimmer will be the NYOS 160 and also added the NYOS Torq. SRC Member jem Posted May 20, 2019 Author SRC Member Share Posted May 20, 2019 For my lights, will be using Aquatic Life + 2 x Radion XR30. A budding reefer referred his uncle to me who is super friendly, paid a small token for his service.
