SRC Member JMW Posted June 28, 2019 SRC Member Share Posted June 28, 2019 Very nice colours, great mix of various SPS & LPS.. can you share how do you balance your nutrients in your mixed reef?
Gryphus1
This is my sump. Recently just added a calcium reactor, and still doing transition from 2 part dosing to CR. My nutrients export is by chaeto and torq reactors rowaphos. This is CR93, FOC from aqua Marin if you get 2 run of calcium media. Have to go for calcium reactor, if continue dosing method it going to be very costly overtime as the tank corals grow. Still dialing on the CR with dosing. Now is going 20 liter of water per month. My path forward is going to switch to water change per month using dosing method over 2 weeks after completely transited to calcium reactor. Will do monitor the nutrients closely. And stay tuned. Meanwhile wanted to share some of my old tank photos 2 feet 30 gal tank. With hang on seachem110 filtration Tunze9004 skimmer And most important I think is my hang on Refugium fully packed with chaeto to control my nutrient. My water change is 10 liter 2 weekly. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
