Great question. We had multiple corals SPS\LPS\Soft and different families and species within each category. As you know SPS are the most demanding, and as such gave us a good index to how the LED performed across the water column. Meaning that if you could grow SPS at that depth the others will be more than fine growing there. The research have supported that (all did extremely well), and the recommended depth for our lights is determined by the ability for SPS to thrive in. 60X60X60cm for the ReefLED90 and 50X50X50cm for the ReefLED50. Hope that answers the question.
