Wanting to try Blackout, Help

Hi guys,

I want to try dosing some vibrant and going for a blackout for 3 days to help with the diatoms/dino issues I have at the moment. Have been patient with this for 2months now and the algae issue is still persistent eventhough I do more water changes, dose vibrant. I need some advice on what would be a good 'cover' I could use for my 4x2x2 tank and where to get them?

Also during blackout period do I have to feed my fishes? Or I could just leave the corals and fishes unfed?

I tried blackout before on a 422. use a cardboard to cover the top would do, not feeding the livestocks totally for 72 hours is fine.

I hs d find blackout and vibrant before both successful. Vibrant is just an aggressive form on bacteria targetting algae. So dose as per instructions or half dosage and slowly up it in week 2-4.
