Cyno growing in ats

Help,why is cynobacteria growing in my ats.Purchased the ats from a reefer to help bring down nitrates.Algae was growing in yhe ats but was soon overtaken by cynos.Theres no sight of cynos in the DP though.

 

I was dosing nopox at the same time.Might the nopox contributed to this?

Appreciate any advise from experienced reefers here.

What's your nutrient readings? I find that cyano starts to grow if you overdose nopox

Remove the cyano and if water quality improves, there will be lesser of them.
