Mark boy
they are reef safe but can eventually become aggressive, if placed with more timid fish
SaltySalty
Dottyback is known to fight its own kind. But if you have enough real estate they should be fine. By that I mean really alot of holes in your rockscape. But it depends on luck sometimes. Just like placing hammer next to torch coral. It can be fine till one fine day they start a chemical warfare. Chromodoris
How likely is orchid dottyback going to fight with firefish?
SRC Member domvonn Posted January 7, 2021 SRC Member Share Posted January 7, 2021 Orchids are usually more gentle Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Chromodoris
Heard that as well, they are the most mild-mannered of all dottybacks, but can still be quite aggressive. My purple firefish quite big and was first to be added to the tank. Don't know whether I should risk it and add an orchid dotty.
