Domchen
Hi guys, i currently have a mated pair of pompom crab, it was a rather lucky acquisition. They are roughly around 1.5 inches from legs to legs female slightly larger. They largely live isolated lives and only come out every now and again to mate. After that it will take roughly 1 months for the female to release the eggs. My question is can I successfully breed a batch out to try and experience? How should I move forward if that is possible. I don’t mind spending some money to get a new smaller tank just for them etc.
Mark boy
very cool, not an expert but most marine crabs have tiny planktonic larval stage that makes it difficult to raise in captivity. one area u might wanna look into is feeding them the right sized live food at the different stages.
