SRC Member cutebarra77 Posted December 29, 2020 SRC Member Share Posted December 29, 2020 Hello reefers! I have a Home Improvement Project coming up and it will be super dusty with the drilling works lasting for at least 10 days. Hence, I need a tank lid solution (322 tank) and not the mesh type. Haven't found one online yet. Any recommendations or advice? Thanks!
SRC Member JMW Posted December 29, 2020 SRC Member Share Posted December 29, 2020 Can consider those clear acrylic sheets as a temporary measure to keep the particles out? May need to custom-cut them to size though
SRC Supporter SubzeroLT Posted December 29, 2020 SRC Supporter Share Posted December 29, 2020 An alternative is to cover the entire tank with plastic sheet (from SKP) & masking tape gaps. For day time when renovation happens. Remove the cover at night. Reverse lighting period so lights come on at night. SRC Member longipods Posted December 29, 2020 SRC Member Share Posted December 29, 2020 Can also cover with egg crate then overlay with clear plastic sheet. This gives some support to the plastic sheet so that it will not sag into the tankSent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app

Hootang
can buy art and craft cardboard. Very stiff and very light.. If need can use tape to tape it down at the sides. Good as temp covers.
