House shifting

Can i ask if anyone has experience with house shifting with their current tanks? I don't intend to have a new tank so would like to ask how much "old" water do we need to keep... I was wondering if 20% of old water would Suffice from the old tank and the rest top up when I'm done transporting the old tank?

You can keep 20% if you have proper storage and air circulation. Now the 80% you need to find roughly the same parameter or salinity, suggest you get natural sea water to top up, slowly fill it up.
