Will be getting T5s and converting my 2 eheim canisters into something useful (any suggestions?) Currently have a 1.5' refugium (bio-sediments) with hang-on skimmer and will consider hooking-up another tank (sump) with different configuration, perhaps a H&S skimmer?

oic Was thinking of loading the canisters with Rowaphos and Carbon.

Erm...the flow from the tank to my refugium (bio-sediments), then to my another tank (haven't ordered yet maybe 3 ft) where it'll contain sand bed (either deep sand bed or just 3" with losta live rocks then to the compartment for skimming) before returning it back to the tank.

Ideas anyone?

Hmmm...Built-in cabinet will take about 2-3 weeks, set-up and running-in say 1 month (with matured stuff in my other tank)...stocking up etc...tell you what maybe throwing in a X'mas party and will invite all around SengKang (see first).

In the meantime...Tigger, can my fishes tompang at your place in time to come? Not many only : -

I have a spare 3 feet IOS tank in my study room. used to keep lohan fish but it die 4 months ago so its empty now. If u don't mind, u can tompang yr fish temporary 1st. but let me get blessing from my wife 1st.

As for tank warming (if there is one end of this year) can pot luck. I sponsor KFC........ :)

Maybe i'll do this (having to setup will be nightmare) just tompang 1-2 small fishes in you place ok (guarantee no white spots - all fishes fed with garlic in every feed)

No problem. But will place them in my sump if u dont mind, cos if put in main tank, latter difficult to catch.

Thanks! The woodwork looks good. Still trying to decide on the size of the tank... Depends on whether can fit budget! :P Especially with a solid wood stand.

By the way, you really having a full height cabinet to cover the stand? Seems such a waste... Sorry, crazy over wood. :yeah: Looks like it's gonna be a great set-up anyway.

I think the cost is quite reasonable considering the workmanship and lacquering (workmanship) is good what tank size u looking at?

Yeah the cabinet needs to be covered up cause the condition for the set-up comes at a price !!! must integrate with TV console + shoe cabinet else my Minister of Finance will not let me do it :lol:

u will have a hell time catching them...

I know I wont be able to catch any fish out due to my LR layout..

Yar.... Me waiting to get a quote. But most probably wait a few months to make sure on the set up. I had one is the word all right. Well not royal but Brazillian. Haven't seen a Royal Gramma yet. Nice fish. Anyway had the gramma last year. Was doing well until I shifted. It was just before CNY so didn't have time to check on the tank. By the time I came back, ICH! Damage done. COuldn't save so sad :cry2:

Bought another one a few months back but my tank eco started to crash. High PO4 and 700-800 reading on calcium. That's now looking at system with refuge and stuff. DOn't want to be a fish murderer any more.

Between got myself another Hagen 802 Powerhead !!! my new set-up will have 2 powerhead both 802 !

Understand that my eheim 1250 may not be sufficient as a return pump and will need to get a 1260 spend money again.... :cry2: cannot go tour this year end !!
