Herewith my Chiller Resun CL650 - peek inside with Tigger and Sunny03 and noticed that there are dull silvery pipings in the heat exchanger compartment, guess its titanium as said and mentioned in the labellings !!! So its VALUE FOR MONEY !!!

Using Eheim 1250 to run the chiller via the sump - chiller seems to kick-in every 1.5 - 2 hours when everything, lights etc running and takes about 30-45mins to cool down to the preset temperature of 26 degrees celcius (from 28. something).

Ok, herewith my PBT - its been fattened and a real bully to the new Naso ###### introduced, so much so that the Blondie is frightened and did not eat for days, got slimmer and slimmer and finally gone to the lord (OH DEAR) :cry2:

Melvyn, juz a point for ur consideration.

maybe u wld like to wrap ur inlet/outlet hoses for the chiller with P.E foam (with adhesive on one side) to prevent condensation and keep temp loss to the environment down to a minimum. :)

Yeah Lightningstrike, thought about that too - just like the normal refrigerant pipings, will monitor how its like and might just as well do a wrap if needed. Thanks again for reminding :rolleyes:

Just got the chiller yesterday with my fish friends - fisherman's friends hehehhehe.....was contemplating between a Daeil 1/4 or Resun 1/4 and nearly got the Daeil last Wednesday...because can't get at xealers price...so after much convincing by some friends, so settle for Resun - have not regretted since.

The noise so far is negligible (dun know why so many people say complained about it). Shoelevy - carry on your review, i can add to yours too :D
