The staff of RMS spent a good amount of time working on my tank and my specifications. 

Took some candid shots of them at work 

 

I opted to go for a compressor to chill the tank due to the location of my tank. The cool guys from Tank Culture, Derek did a wonderful job installing and locating the compressor at the far end of my balcony.

Decided to purchase a 20" DI resin filter to fill my tank with water @ TDS 0. This can be later connected to my RO/DI and save me the hassle of having to replace the small DI cartridge every 3-6months

Was sourcing for Marco rocks but was out of stock in Singapore.

Contacted the friendly peeps at RMS and learned that they carry in STAX rocks which are flat rocks cut out from Marco.

After 3-4hours of sniffing liquid glue and sand, satisfied with my current scape. Gave myself a pat on the back

Fast forward to Apr-22.

Faced a few hiccups of AEFW, equipment failures etc.

Got my tank stable again and decided to swap the CaRX to AFR (as advised by my reefing buddies). Tank maturing day by day.

i do not have problems with algae as i keep tangs and a good number of snails (20+ and spawning)

heat management wise, my compressor rest about 2½hours and runs for an hour

Nice - i guess that is about 1C temp going up every 2 hours which is somewhat normal I guess.

Small update after a long hiatus. Coral collection increading day by day. Hosting some of @JiaEn 's coral temporarily. Will update more when i have the energy(and time).

i’ve been following your update bro! yours is superb with the sps on one side and lps on the other. i have a question for you tho, the wm just on one side near the overflow, are you able to keep sps near the overflow? i know at the end of your tank has the higher flow.

yes bro, the tank gets good flow as my wavemakers pulses throughout

Was blessed with two monti from two close reefers.

growth went crazy and started encrusting at the bottom of the tank

 

 

Bought a paint scrapper from hardwarestore to do the job

 

Came out nicely and got lots of loose frags
