The other option is calcium reactor.. buts it’s not convenient to setup. Unless you can manual dose regularly throughout e day, dosing pump is the way to go.

Any reasons why you are not considering a dosing pump?

Have heard many stories of Dosing error crashing tank. My tank location is not where I stay, thus can’t check on the pump frequently. One error, all gone.

Kalk mix in ato reservoir? Raises both calcium and alkalinity. I know you mentioned without raising other parameters but seems this would be ideal in your situation especially since both parameters are linked in some ways.

I tried once and didnt like the sediments that settle at bottom of ato. There are workaround available on net.
