Hi,

Sorry to borrow this thread. But I have a question too.

1) Usually what type of lights is good for a FOWLR, in order to show up nice colors of the live rocks, etc. I am thinking of blue light but I think I also came across those purplish/pinkish light before. Anyone can advise what are those? Are they good too? :)

Anyway in order to show up the nice colors, what type of lights should I go for? Can someone recommend me the exact brand and model please? Thanks since I am extremely green when it comes to equipment. :paiseh:

2) I noticed also that when I visited some LFS, the lighting of the tank can be so nice that you can clearly see wave of lights at the sandbed, most probably caused by the current too. Anyone can advise how usually you can achieve those type of lighting effect? :bow:

Thanks! :bow::thanks:

Should be enough, but you might want to reconsider getting 4 blue bulbs. Generally the more blue the spectrum is, the less the PAR (photosynthetically-available radiation). For a 4-light combo maybe 2 x 10,000K and 2 blue-based lighting will be a better choice.

haa thanz dragon goby my dnd aqua blue is the 10k... yep thanz alot :D
