Idea for Zeo "Reactor"

Hey guys......

This idea just struck me so wanna know your views......

As the Zeo reactor is basically just to allow the water to flow pass it.....

how about using thos Luohan filters as a reactor???

the water flows pass it quickly enough.....and if you want can just place it on your sump.......

to 'shake' it...i was thinking of just using a spoon or something to move it vigourously.....

what you guys think??

will there be too much salt spray?

Are you going to use a pump suitable for reef keeping to pump water in....as I dun have confidence in the reliability of the pump used for Luohan to be used for saltwater....

dun think so,

water will probably flow over the zeoliths,

you need for it to flow through it like the way it does through

a fluidized reactor for a full effect.

Actually i do think the water would flow through it.......

the water enters at the top of the filter mah.......

so if have maybe a 2nd level so can put the zeoliths there.......

was wondering how to 'shake it' effectively................

for pump i think better use a sicca pump....maybe the smaller version......

not too sure.......

i go study my left over OHF first.....haha
