hey yes we were discussing how you stack your rocks so stably high. If you stack your rocks with a gradual slope from the front to back i can understand how it can be stable, but yours seems like a magic wall rising straight up leh. The fish won't swim swim siwm then BANG! knock over things meh? or some itchy hand crab go topple the rock.

hi....small n medium pieces as base rock.....den follow by those nice pattern wan....slowly jus interlock together lors...haha...if u goin for fowlr den leave more space for fishes to swim, cos i wan put alot corals...so my rocks are stack in the scape that i can put the max no. of corals...

btw..jus gotten another eagle eye from irwana!...

i'm so indecisive lar.. I started out for a FOWLR project. but now that equipment are fixed, I've got a MH and i've got a chiller, itchy hand tempted to do some corals.

My fav fish is the juvenile emperor. and that fish is not reef safe. sian.

just tested my water parameters....

Calcium : 460ppm

Magnesium : 1160ppm

Phosphate : 0.05mg

Nitrate : 1mg

kH : 7

Salt Salinity : 1.021

Magnesium quite low...gotta increase it tmr...

Your PO4 & NO3 are so low even though yours is a 2ft tank with so many fishes and corals. Do u use PO4 and NO3 remover? If not, how do u maintain the water quality. Also how often u change water and by how much ?

hi....i use po4 remover....seachem phosguard.....for nitrate...i dun use any remover for that....

i do a 10% water change once in every 2 wks...

wah seh! powder blue in a 2FT! amazing! I'm currently having a Sailfin tang. planning for a kole tang. now i see u keep powder blue, i also itching to get one redi! How are the tangs fairing? if they are doing good, i think i wanna follow you too!

u need to quarantine the powder blue for quite some time....its nt an easy fish to keep..u gotta get it feed lyk a pig 1st b4 u intro in a tang..guess its jus luck tt the pbt can survive in my tank..

If ever I come across a baby PBT, then i'd consider. its a really pretty fish. AT is also a very nice fish but i think 2ft tank keep that will kena flame big time! haha!

I'm waiting for LFS to stock kole tang so that bristle tooth can eat all my diatom! the diatom problem getting from bad to worse but no one stock kole tang! i'm very tempted to get a convict tang to do the job first.

kole tang is quite a hard fish to keep....its nt an easy task to get it feeding wif pellets..
