Bro, is yr Tunze controllable?

Hi, both are tunze 6060. Not controllable. I feel that the flow is just sufficent for the upcoming sps though.

However, if got ts07, ts12 or ts24 is so much better.

Hey wilson, the fault doesnt lie with the Schuran skimmer. Its the position of it, i.e. i placed it too far away. Hence, the [performance not as good.

I am considering adding an additional 6 inch by 24 inch small beckett powered with md40.

;) oic, with additonal beckett :o thats highly comsumpation of elect bill (unless u dun mind on these) wat do u think if u remove the schuran since it cannot do much on ur tank...since beckett can handle the load.

I am thinking of running the Schuran jetskim side by side with the beckett.

Its not tt the Schuran isnt skimming, in fact its still oproducing waste and it can handle the bio load of the tank at the moment. However, as i add in more corals/fishes etc. May need to utilise the beckett.

Hey paul.. Got buy any new big tangs for your tank??

Any updates on the naso??

Hi bro, the Naso tang is very greedy now. Feeds on seaweed, brine & mysis shrimps.

In contrast to what most reefers believe, its not tt difficult to get large tangs to feed.

The Naso tang ( 7 inch) took two weeks to accustom to the tank. Initially it was not feeding much, but now it chiong for the food. :) Some more its the first fish i introduce into the system.

Other tangs i am planning to get:

Atlantic blue tang

Achilles tang

is your mh an aqualight fixture?

Sadly, no.

Both MH are DIY fixture.

The 250 watt is using phoneix bulb and the 150 watt is using Astralaux bulb.

Phoneix bulb beats hands down.
