Help with prata

I got a 3" prata. But realised that there is a small feather duster worm hitchhiking on it's edge, causing it unable to fully expand. Will it affect the prata's growth cos I don't think i can physically remove the worm without damaging the prata's bone structure.

hihi tjchan .. i reckon if the tube worm was already encrusted with it when u u bgt it, it shdnt be the reason fo rthe prata not expanding fully. its probably there even when it was in the sea... perhaps its some other reasons

hi Dazza, it's expanding on all sides except the part where the tube worm is. U can see some of the bone structure on that part as the prata recedes from that area.

You can always take it out and use a cutter and cut the tube worm out. If it is so deeply encrust, which I doubt, you may use a dremel like cutter to reach it. Or use a pointed screw driver and poke at it.

Anyway, with the tube worm, it is not hurting the prata but just look out of symetric...
