true pecular clown keep clearing sand

Hi,

My pair of true pecular clown, especally the male, keep "digging" big hole on the sand bed with their tails. Any idea why such behaviour?

So far they have laid eggs many time.

mine too... but they haven lay any egg... guess they r cleanin their house... hehehe....

walao they already picked one of my LPS to lay eggs and seriously affecting it's health and now "sweep the floor" somemore!! !@#$%

Mine also keep cleaning the sand bed beside the anemone, is this a sign of laying eggs? Where will it lay ah? MIne is clarkii, then what colour will the eggs be? Will they eat their own eggs?

don't know if it is sign of gona lay egg. Do you have a pair? if not how to lay egg?

the egg color is orangy-yellow something like tat. Nemo won't eat their eggs but not sure of the egg that tuens bad. very caring parents! egg will turn dark grey in a few days then the silver color eyes will appear then should hatch ard a week in a stormy dark mid-night

u shld b hapi tht they lay egg mahz dun giv up on them they already lay eggs for u..

u will tink wat is a coral compare to a egg laying nemo..

sumtimes they once lay egg they will spawn once in a frequent period..

they will keep laying until e eggs r beri mature..

in pregnancy stage feed more nutrition stuff like market prawn...

later stage of eggs n babies r more mature

she will lay more of cus..

expect her to b territorial...

poor male....

clearing of sand may only b marking its territory...

but if it starts to peck on a certain rock..which is quite clean..n only tht piece it wans to peck..

most likely its preparing for e female to lay eggs

b cautious of predators in e tank like other fish...
