SRC Member hongqixian Posted October 30, 2006 SRC Member Share Posted October 30, 2006 bristle worm. usually harmless scavengers but some grow bigger and pick at things. do a search for more info. your corals don't seem to be doing well. avoid that kind, that's dendronephtya and it usually doesn't do well in aquariums. your tank conditions don't look very good either. http://www.reefs.org/library/aquarium_net/1296/1296_4.html
Achilles Tang
Hi and welcome to SRC! Can I request that you post your photos in 600 pixel width max so we can all see it without having to scroll? If you need help in resizing, read this! http://www.sgreefclub.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=28487 BTW, your bristleworm looks like the type that it is the highly predatory type... i forgot the species... but it can grow very very large and give a very nasty bite. Use tongs to get it out or use a trap.

SRC Member ClOwNy_LoVeR Posted October 31, 2006 SRC Member Share Posted October 31, 2006 just remove the rock and use tap water to wash the rock then the worm will slowly come out and drown due to fresh water cheers
