40-42 days. The orange fish has started to turn purple. Guess it might be an orchid dottyback? The other fish is still rather translucent, much bigger than the orange-purple fish.

any updates?

The first settler is fully pigmented with and coming close to 2cm. The second one has a slight orange hue to it. Now focusing on second batch. Currently at 9 days, around the size of newly hatched clownfish larvae I think.

Dottyback egg balls. Orange belongs to orchid dottyback. White belongs to oblique-lined dottyback.

Oh... Looking forwards to a new batch of CB dottyback in a few months time...

I have orchid dottyback juveniles settle once again, more than 2 this time and in just around 20 days :eyebrow:. Photos in a few days time as I do not want to stress them too much now.
