Cirrhilabrus brunneus featured in this species is hiroyuki tanaka's picture of the very black lunatus. which is now placed as brunneus i think? Senior Reefer yikai Posted July 24, 2010 Senior Reefer Share Posted July 24, 2010 Halichoeres pallidus. looks exactly like Halichoeres trispulis, but the latter has a thick yellow margin on a clear tail as adults. while pallidus has a yellowish tail as adults. these two can be found in CF from time to time. occasionally juveniles are brought in. Senior Reefer yikai Posted July 24, 2010 Senior Reefer Share Posted July 24, 2010 this fish is so commonly seen in our shipments. but it's recently been described as a new species. currenly being named, but for now, Cirrhilabrus cf. cyanopleura. looks so identical to cyanopleura but there are differences.
