New scrubber update: The new design will not require a slot in the pipe. If you have not built one yet, and you have trouble with DIY, then you might wait for the new DIY plans to be posted; there should be no hard-to-cut pieces (like a slot), at least for the very simple versions.

Hi guys, below picture is just build in 3 days. Nothing seems appear at the moment. Hope with this method will remove the green algae which is growing on my sand bed. Will see in 1-2 weeks later.

Dude is that a BBQ mesh u r using? Metal? Also the back reflector? Metal as well?

The mesh is not metal. Its a plastic. And the back reflector maybe a metal. Im not really sure about the reflector lol..

Looks like metal.. fyi.. perhaps should look at mirror instead?

What's ur nitrate And phosphate to begin with?.. my tank is close to 40ppm nitrate... but I don't have algae growing as well.. weird..
