SRC Member andylee Posted October 13, 2009 Author SRC Member Share Posted October 13, 2009 Purpose of posting my setup here is to gain invaluable comments on how to improve my aqaurium For my lightings, I'm using a 4ft 2x T5 HO retrofit from AM, and a 3ft 3x T5 HO Hopar set (one bulb spoilt). Will it be enough? Chiller set to kick in at 29.5 and stop at 28. Good enough for LPS only tank? Tank circulation is using Rio 20 (5400 l/hr) as return pump. after tee off to chiller and loss, circulation about 4000 l/hr. About 13x. Still looking for wavemakers also. Quote Project R.E. Strong/medium/low lighting? gonios are extremely difficult to keep. i won't suggest keeping them bubble corals are easy. medium light, low flow. hammers and frogspawn, like all euphyllias, like moderate flow and medium to good lights. SRC Member TayHongSiang Posted October 13, 2009 SRC Member Share Posted October 13, 2009 Yr tank height is abt 1.5ft and 4 T5 tubes for LPS may be a bit too strong. Probably change one of them to actinic blue or pro-colour which is mainly red. I used to have one of these anemone...be careful..as this particular type likes to move around and may sting yr other corals.
Senior Reefer yikai Posted October 13, 2009 Senior Reefer Share Posted October 13, 2009 that is a gbta i think. this species moves very little if its requirements are met. if not, the tend to move around alot.
