Thanks. I didn't get a headache but my wife did so she slept for 1 hour inside the theatre. LOL

I was seriously tempted to catch Avatar at Lido (Their RealD 3D system is what the upcoming Sony Bravia 3D LCDs and the 3D Bluray format will be based on)

Then I found out the tickets were $14.00 a pop, and there is an additional $1.00 surcharge for online booking.

Thats like $57.00 for a family of four..very very scary.

I watched on xmas day with my gf... 14 bucks also plus the online booking fee... Cinemas know how to chop ppl... :(

Luckily we didn't get headache, but took a good 30min to settle into the 3d effect. I must say the movie turned out surprisingly good for both of us! Anyone went back to watch a second/third time?

I dun dare to try 3D.

I have not even been into normal cinemas for easily a few yrs already.

The last time I stepped into one was for Star Wars epsiode 3), I got a bad headache for the rest of the day.

3D is a definite no - no for me :(

Just can't help thinking about "Wheel of Time" series when I see this phrase... Anyone is a Robert Jordan fan here too? :)

i find that there wasnt too much 3d scenes from Avatar as compared to lets say final destination 3, good show non the less

and i am so into 3d , that i changed my monitor to a viewsonic 120hz so that i can play 3d games lol, but cant yet because my gfx card is an ati

there should be a SAW 3d. or final destination 3D! with fine mist splashing on your face for the "blood spurting" effect. haiz...

haha wait for universal studio lor, will have as many effects as you want :) I remember the last time I was in BKK's siam ocean there was this 3d thingy for kids tt had mist splashing in my face! mildly irritateing actually :P

Oh now I remember... it's not just 3d, but 4d :P With sensory experience as the 4th d i guess.

went to universal studios in US before and watched some 4D movies. spiders crawling on ur leg etc. cool!

THEY SHOULD MAKE 5D!! when the fella saw off someone's hand, U CAN FEEL IT AND EXPERIENCE IT LOL

i was in Vietnam for one whole week...

totally missed out on this movie ever since its release..

heard nothing but good reviews on it, esp the 3D version..

i hope its still screening in cinemas for me to catch it this weekend...

i wear glasses,

so that 3D glasses sometimes will get into my way...

but i have the tendency to always remove my 3D glasses to view the movie once in awhile..

itchy hand...

end up getting more distracted over my pair of 3D glasses instead.. haha...
