SRC Member peacemaker Posted July 22, 2010 SRC Member Share Posted July 22, 2010 Well... for aesthetic purposes, you don't have to hang your hydrometer in the tank, ya know? The G1 60W Maxspect's coverage is not so widespread, so your clams might be a little deprived. Perhaps you might wanna consider lifting it slightly higher to cover a wider angle. SRC Member albinosage Posted July 22, 2010 SRC Member Share Posted July 22, 2010 Hi bro, great looking tank! Peace is right about the clams being deprived of light. We have the same tank and LED fixture, and I place my clam about 1/3 from the bottom and even so, it could do with more light. Do stock up slowly to prolong your tank set-up pleasure, and to let the system mature. benjamin81
Thanks.. Will try to find a suitable spot to place the clams.
