I told Henry I want the biggest wrasse. Maybe that's the reason it wasn't as shy as the ones you guys got.

Mine started feeding immediately and spent his/her first few hours exploring the tank until the lights went off.

How you acclimatize your fish? I dripped mine for about 4 hrs 2-3 drop/second, drop bag into sump for another 30 mins to balance the temperature before introducing into the main tank.

4hr? i only acclimatized for 30mins to balance the temperature, and then dripped at 3-4 drops/second for another 15-20mins, removed 50% water, dripped another 15-20mins then released the fish.

Well, I rather waste a few more hours than to waste a fish friends.gif.

But, that's only me ;)

sand wrasse can hide under the sand for more than 2 weeks when first introduced.

dun need to fear if it didnt come out during the first 2 weeks.

If a man could beat his own fantasy. Then to only breed in captivity. Then its pointless.

Genesis 1:20

And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that has life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. And God created great whales, and every living creature that moves, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good. And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth. And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.

Yes, proper way to introduce the fish is to climatised the tank temperature, water parameter and to let the fish see the surroundings so that the fish will not shock
