If a man could beat his own fantasy. Then to only breed in captivity. Then its pointless.

Genesis 1:20

And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that has life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. And God created great whales, and every living creature that moves, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good. And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth. And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.

Maybe not fully automatic, as you need to do salt mix as well. But it's still very possible.

I dislike water change cos carry buckets of salt water is backbreaking and sometimes dirty the floor. But it's an important step in reefing.

Of that can be reduced, more time can be spent taking care of the corals and propogating them.

If man can go to the moon... It's just a case of how much $ we are wiling to spend to automate waterchange.

i want to use my time to look at the tank more rather than doing the water change, thats my way of reefkeep.

yup..water drain will be from sump, too much risk if from main tank..

so equipment including return pump must off lo else will eventually suck n pump air into main tank?
