SRC Member johntanjm Posted December 5, 2010 SRC Member Share Posted December 5, 2010 Dear reefers, I built this setup back in Dec 2008. The objective was a tank that had close-to-zero maintenance, low running costs and yet still hold it its ground as a striking central attraction in the living room. 2 years have passed and I have succeeded in attaining a fully stocked FOWLR setup (heavily fed 8 times a day), colorful and attractive, no visible algae, clear water, no skimmer, no FR and no water changes. It started off as an experimental system and despite the encouragements of fellow reefers to share and post, I have declined because I wasn't sure I was going to succeed. It is quite sad that when I finally get to post and share my tank, it is time to decommission it. Thanks to the many reefer friends I have made along the way. I appreciated the company and conversations we had. $1000 take it all. Details to follow. Separate sales will follow if I don't find a buyer who will swipe it all =) Viewing possible on weeknights and weekends. Any questions I can help you with, please call John@97813303 --------------------------------------------- The Deep Blue Sea in My HDB! http://myfishyroomates.blogspot.com

SRC Member johntanjm Posted December 6, 2010 Author SRC Member Share Posted December 6, 2010 Sad... you are one of the scrubber model cases. the scrubber is not without its drawbacks which I didn't really talk about. However used in the right context, it's really value for money. you also build one la. --------------------------------------------- The Deep Blue Sea in My HDB! http://myfishyroomates.blogspot.com
