Betrayed the bare bottom faternity... There is so much scraping i am willing to do... So just "sweep it under the rug" is to cover it with sand... Must be diligent in raking the sand though

The sand give it a more natural reef look. 2 likes now.

FR : H2Ocean FMR75 Fluidised Media Reactor with Hailea HX-2500 (Feeder Pump) running Rowaphos.

CR : Skimz Monzter E Series CM122 Calcium Reactor.

BPR: Marine Source Biopellet  Reactor with Continuum Reef Biopellet Fuel. 

Main Return Pump : SICCE Syncra ADV 9.0 & Jebao ACQ-10000 Water Pump.

Adding sand has 3 advantages. ..1) more surface area for beneficial bacteria hosting 2) help reflect light upwards 3) better ascetic natural look

I wasnt really thinking of advantages... This decision stem from a purely aesthetic point of view... (Also i had sand from my 3footer so why not ) and also as you can see above... Tank has very limited rockspace.left... I couldnt do much in terms of stocking except for a few frags maybe .... So have to find ways to keep me occupied
