yellowtang
Show off time. This is what make Reefing so satisfying. Nurturing a simple to a beauty.. Red Planet. The colony nearly died on me. Luckily managed to salvage a frag and so finished the end, and the start of a beginning... Thanks to tht79, Alvin , who so generously shared this yellow phoenix with me. The yellow bird and pink bird nest so beautifully. And lastly, the robust echinata thrusts its grandness above all others. Cheers, YT.

yellowtang
Nice coloration, are you dosing anything for them? If got, mind sharing? =) Kirby, nothing specific. There is no sure system, it depends on what you are keeping, the tank size,etc... Ok, some info on my tank first. 4 X 2 x 2.5 ht. 5 years old ( old tank syndrome is the threat). Mixed reef: zoas, sps Acans and Blastos Anemone, fishes (30+) And many others.. I feed heavily, including oyster feast for sps. Amino + multi vit , 10 drops 4-5 times a week. I dose Bact everyday : 10ml. Run rowA phos, bio pallets , carbon, cr + 2 teaspoon Cacl and 1 teaspoon Kh powder everyday. 6 hrs of burnt, 250w mh (20KK) + 6 X 39w T5. Night is Exotic led, 4 ft. Simple things in your hand will be transformed into a beautiful piece of art. kudo to your expertise, knowledge and selfless always willing to share. I feel flattered by your comments. I am no expert. I went thro the steep learning curve. Anything can happen with a reef tank. Black Swan Syndrome. Spot early trouble and quick to act on it.. When everything is fine, one is called an expert. The next day, trouble brews, the expert becomes a blurred reefer and starts asking questions. This is one heck of a hobby. Thanks HappyReefer.
