Bugs in filter sock?

Likely a Gammarid Amphipod. Mostly beneficial detrivores.

I got alot of that in my overflow compartment too.

R they good??? What should I do?

Some1 doesn't 1 2 do anything find an excuse,some1 1 2 do something find a mean!

sry OT how do u guys wash your filter socks?

it seem that i need a spray jet to clean them ...

I've super micro ones all over the tank wall...

Mandrain fish should solve the problem rite??

It is not a problem. they are beneficial to your tank's well being.

Pods should not be considered as a problem... it is beneficial to the reef as a food source to smaller fishes, and they do feed on algae.

If you plan to buy a mandarin fish, pls be prepared to continue to provide it with sufficient pods to feed on, or train it to feed on prepared food such as frozen mysis. They are capable of wiping out a tank load of pods within a short period of time, and would obviously starve to death if no food source is available.
