I'm just just curious on how do you guys remove dead fishes in your marine tanks. I have few fishes that are missing in my tank (1 clown, damsel ans a small clown tang. Does anyone of you having problem with the above biopellets clogging up all the filter media including the reactors? I am already using a filter sock on the output of the reactor. The filter sock will clog after a few day then it will clog my wool filter. So I have change and wash the sock and replace the wool almost 2 times a week. Anybody have this experience as well? White spots came back after a few days. This time round seems like the medic is no longer effective. Increased the dosage to 3x but still not working. My fishes starts to die. Hi Fellow Reefers, Can Polyplab Medic kill corals? I tried to use this product since I saw some white spots on one of my fish in my DT. To avoid outbreak, I dosed with Pl Medic. After 2 days, I notice that my open brain Coral started to bleech. I immediately stop the dosing and also the white spot is no longer visible. Can Medic cause my brain to bleech? Is is possible for the TDS reading be higher than the tap water after going through the sediment and carbon filter? I have modified my 3 stage DI filter to 2 more stages since I want to add sediment and additional carbon filter. My new setup is as follows. 1st stage - 10 microns wool sediment filter. 2nd stage - 10 micron carbon block filter. 3rd stage - 5 micron carbon block. 4th and 5th - DI resin. Although the final output is zero TDS reading, but when I tested TDS before the DI resin. The Tds reading is 10 to 12 more than the tap water. I did 30% water change after cycling but nitrate went down only to around 40 and phosphate to around 1. After few days of using the reactors NO3 reduce to 0 but Phosphate below 0.5. Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
