went down to Marine hobbyist t hong leong yestersday. actually wanted to convert my tank to reef. Intend to keep mostly soft coral as a start. Ask for 2 nos 3ft PLC light. Each has 4 tubes. Was told not enough for my 3ft tank! Somethings like my 2.5 ft depth is too deep for the lighting???? Can any kind soul pls enlighten me on this topic? Thanks in advance!

Thinking of leaving the fishes in number of pail with air pump for at least 2 days! is it safe? Cos I got to take out the DSB sand from the main tank before transporing cause too heavy. Advisable? The sand in the sump will not be disturb cause not too heavy.

Hi. I moving my existing tank to my new home. The question is where to put my fishes? Got 4 angels, 3 clowns, i shrimp and 1 unknown fish. If i put them in a big pail, how long can its last? Understand that i should never upset the sand in the sump, right??? any advise is most welcome!

What is the amount of lights suitable for 3ftx1.5ftx2.5ft (LXWXH) reef tank? I mean the watt if I not wrong. BTW is PC lightings good enough? Suppose If I to buy a chiller for the tank, what will be the consumption per month... I mean the electrical bill for the chiller alone. Thanks for any info!

Currently I having a FOWLER tank. Will be moving to my new house. Thought of converting to Reef tank. Size 3ftx2.5ftx1.5ft (LXHXW) Also have a sump. 4 angels, 3 damsels, 2 clown fish, 1 balloon clown fish and 1 unknown fish and 1 box shrimp. what are the chances of having corals with the above fishes???
