  1. Yes, Labrador Park is a protected area. http://www.wildsingapore.com/places/lp.htm
  2. Here's mine. This photo was taken by her Australian breeder before she was shipped to me. And that was a few years back.
  3. lee, They are still there at the same place mah. I called them just now.
  4. Wah! Purplish pink Yuma! Never see before! Very nice! I also want!!!!!! You mean they are the same ones as the previous photo?
  5. lee, I've replied your PM. Thanks.
  6. Nice compact little camera! Even nicer Yuma! Where did you buy your Yuma? I may pop by the LFS and have a look and probably buy too. Thanks in advance!
  7. Nice Yuma! But colour looks a little "enhanced"??!!?
  8. He may not have broken the law. The link I posted is for Chek Jawa but I have seen these eggs on some rocks at Pasir Ris beach too.
  9. Ok, I found more info regarding these predatory snails called Drills (Muricidae family); http://www.wildsingapore.com/chekjawa/text/r425.htm
  10. If you are referring to the yellowish and purplish stuff on the right of your photo, you better remove them now and the adult ones as well! These are predatory molluscs' eggs!!! Yellowish ones are newly layed and the purplish ones are hatched already!!! I bet you picked up these rocks from our beaches!!
  11. Here's your (mine now!) Abalone working very hard in my tank! At the same time, up this thread for you! Good luck to your sale!
  12. Just found the answer to my own question..... It's on page 5 of the Prizm manual para 8 Maintenance. The air tube is suppose to be connected to the Injector Nozzle below. But then it still won't help with the skimmate, this is for priming purpose.
  13. Actually, that's what I thought! Before I changed it, I also noticed the tubing is not connected. I thought after months of usage, it shrunk. So when I replaced it, I cut a longer piece and connected it to the bottom. Maybe someone with a brand new Prizm can check his set and let us know?
  14. Oolong tea was what I used to get too until I started fine-tuning! I changed both the internal and external ones. Skimmate no difference before and after. Unless the tubings are choked I think! I changed them because both tubings are dirty that's all.
  15. Ya, true, It's because the cup is quite big that's why only need to clean it once a week. Mine is a 4x1.5x2 ft tank. For the tuning part, I need to fine tune it everytime I perform a twice monthly 20% water change. And in between, I occassionally fine tune it too to get the skimmate I want below. I guess every few days, the water condition or quality differs so need to fine tune it to skim properly. When I first bought it, I only tune it once and left it alone and I usually get either green tea or chinese tea coloured skimmate. Below are the photos I just took. I'm curious, if you don't tune yours, do you get skimmate like mine too? By the way, I just changed the rubber tubing in the first picture that's why it looks so clean and new.
  16. I have a Red Sea Prizm. It gives very good skimmate only when you are not tired of tuning and tuning. And I have been tuning and tuning! Whenever you need a pic of my skimmate just let me know, I'll take a pic of it and post it here. Of course can't be compared to the hassle-free AquaC Remora. They are a few hundred bucks apart anyway! But my recommendation is still to save up for the AquaC Remora. I'm still not tired of tuning my Prizm, so will keep it for a little longer....
  17. Yup, me. I PMed you but not sure if I'm second in line.
  18. Actually, you don't need to keep buying Eheim's disposable and expensive filter cartridges. Just fill it up with filter wool will do. I know coz I have a three! And easy to maintain too! This is my favourite hangon filter! Good luck to your sales!
  19. Whoa! Didn't know Abalone can swim so fast! Thanks, FuEl. How's the Nudis? Actually, they reproduce quite fast. Noticed something just now. I caught a small brown Mantis Shrimp and dumped him into the 1 footer together with the rest of the Nudis and you know what! The Mantis Shrimp ate a couple of Nudis. You may want to keep a couple of Mantis Shrimps to control the Nudis population!
  20. Sorry, not coral. But I like this......
  21. FuEl, where did you buy your Emerald Crabs from and how much each?
