i m unable to get cheap molly that's why breed them.
Even if you want to breed them, you don't have to convert them to SW to breed, right?

My all time favourite band!
Think I'll get myself a set tomorrow!

90% of the NTSC/J games available here are in English! I know, coz I'm a XBoxer too! Do not modify your set if you intent to play online. But heard there's a mod chip which allows you to disable it before you go online.
Anyway, you can find out more about it at these local websites and at the same time meet fellow XBoxers,

hbpencil,
You don't need to buy the cartridges. Just fill it with filter wool will do.
Hope this helps.

Hi Reefer
that's what i use do that.
e.g defreeze the Mysis Shrimp pour away any excessive water.......
If you are referring to Hikari Mysis Shrimp, do not pour away the "excessive water" or "juice". It contains added multi-vitamins!

Hey, thanks man!
Cheers.

To fellow reefers who are using the abovementioned salt mix:
How many kg is this bucket of salt mix and approx. how much does one such bucket cost please?

Triggerfish?

Is your powerhead too strong or blowing near or at the sand bed?
-
ooooooh i like this.
And I just bought my el cheapo razor blades to mount in my DIY scraper.
...and it is interchangeable with a sponge-type glass cleaner too.
-
Better be real careful with metal blades - whether sharp or blunt ones.... my tank has lots of heart-wrangling micro scratches to show. But it seems strange that they don't appear until some months later after you use the blades. You will see them clearly at an angle under strong lights....
I tried plastic cards etc but too soft though. Am using a small acrylic sheet (about 2-3 mm thick and about palm size). Personally find them very effective and glass safe.
Ya, agree. Still have to be careful............

I only feed mine once or twice a month with a small piece of baby clam. But sometimes, my other fishes or even the shrimps steal the clam from the Anemone! Other than that, I often noticed that a small amount of the fish food that I feed my fishes daily usually lands on the Anemone. I guess just like in the wild, Anemone depends on the current (sometimes the clownfish) to bring food to it. It has grown from slightly smaller than fist size to 2 palm size now!

Ok thanks.

Oh, no. I meant a pinned or sticky thread where everyone posts their self-introduction. Do we have one here?
-
Hey, thanks for the quick reply, lightningstrike. But what I mean is a thread where members here do a self-intro...age. m/f, occupation, hobbies and stuff like that? Btw, are you the same lightningstrike at HWZ?
-
Hi all,
Just wondering is there an intro thread here where I can know a little more about our fellow members here?
Thanks in advance!

as accidents can happen, what kind of damage can be caused to live stock and/or corals ?
It's not exactly a blade actually. It's just a piece of stainless steel that's slightly thinner than a credit card. Try cutting yourself with a credit card. That's about how "sharp" the scraper is. Although it's not sharp still it's not meant to be used on an acrylic tank. Even the magnetic glass cleaner can sometimes scratch arcylic tanks.
-
Try this, guys. It's a blade-type glass scraper and it's good. Been using it for months. Scrape coralline algae off the glass easily too!

Why wouldn't we believe you? I do..........<snip>
We should say we don't believe him and make him post some photos mah. Why? You don't want to see photos meh?

Quickly use hair dryer to blow dry to prevent swelling or to prevent the wood from absorbing the water. But if it happened few days back, I'm afraid it may be a little too late.

I don't think they are reclaiming the protected area. Btw, protected in this case does not mean you can't explore or go into that area. It simply means "NO POACHING". If you see anyone poaching, please report them, 1-800-4685736.
As for the dirty part, we have to do our part by not littering or leave anything behind after picnic or fishing or whatever!
What is max size of tank that HDB allow?
