    Hey bro Gouldian, thanks for the reply. I was wondering if the above fan would be an overkill, and if a relatively big computer fan would suffice. Thanks!

    you can haunt for KDK or similar fans at shops around kelantan lane. those shops below the hdb flats. saw many different sizes, generally, those fans are for extraction of air rather than blowing. so getting a bigger house power is alright.

    you can get those computer fans from sim lim tower as well. lots of models, would advise you to get those from japan. they are longer lasting. i got mine from there and so far have serve me well.

    Ya, i know if i go to glass shop and i can get it. The problem is i'm not local and i don't know where is glass shop. :blink:

    Anyway thank you and thank boss. by checking streetdirectory, kelantan lane is not so convenient to access with public transport. Any other shops which can go easily by public transport and i stay in Tampines.

    i'm local and take public transport to kelantan lane leh. can take MRT to bugis and walk there. when glass is ready just take a taxi back lor. maybe u can try asking them to paste for u. its not easy cos need to support the glass before silicon dry...

    defu lane area should have some glass maker as well. its nearer to tampiness too. alternative is to go to your nearest LFS and ask them to fabricate for you ?)

    Interestingly I just used a check valve in my return circuit. Had problems with output so I decided to remove the spring, which did the trick. There's no return when the weight of the water column is pushing the valve back in place, and the output from my pump is significantly better. Plus there's no downside of rusting springs.

    can try getting tunze check valve. got 1 with a spring and was told its not suitable for marine, so they changed a new one with out spring, which can be use for marine.

    i've read that it takes 3 weeks, 4 weeks on safe side for the itch parasite to die off. if lets say i waited it out, after 4 weeks, those weaker fish died and left those surving fish. does this means that there is no longer itch parasite left in the tank?

    was talking to ML and was told that some reefer's tank have no itch for a few years. after intro of new fish, even after QT the itch came back again.

    that is baby veiled..survival rate is very low. secondly..u bring it back..it would hv stress and die easily..plus air tickets and the risk of smuggling n survive of that baby veiled..so u k decide on the risk whether it is worth it or not

    haha. that's why i say need to take risk mah. price is high cos its orh market price. same too for your sonic.
