Bros, I did a test on the NSW for KH and Calcium only. PH did not test. Kh is 6dh (measure with Tetra test kit) Cal is 320ppm (measure with salifert kit) Is the idea range for KH is 8dh - 10dh, and cal 400ppm - 450ppm? How should i raise both KH and Cal? Any brand to recommend. Anyone could advise and recommend. thanks

Cant resist those chio coral & fish, so started to read read read and finally decided to give it a try. Tear down my planted tank, did some DIY overflow pipe and order a sump. Got serveral resale items from nice bros here 1) Deltec skimmer apf 600, 2) Tunez 6060 wavemaker, 3) Skimz FR 4) live rocks 5) light brackets Got everything hookup and tank was fill up with NSW by pacific reef, nice guys who deliver the nsw to my house on 27 Jun 09 Here a shot of my tank running in 2 weeks back.

Hi all, am cycling my tank now, intending to keep some lps in future. my tank is 4ft x 1.5ft x 2ft. currently am running 2 pumps, first the main return 1262 and 2nd the 1260 for chiller. Is this flow sufficient? when i on my tunez 6060, the water become very strong, do i need to add in the tunez 6060? thanks for your advice.

bro, check with you, did you on your skimmer during this cycling stage? Me also just set up my tank over the week end, using live sand, live rock and NSW. Did a quick run thru, some say must on skimmer, some sayno need. very confuse. i did run my skimmer over the week end to test run for a day, surprise alot of skims, shld i off the skimmer now?
