  1. Wow, yours was a real beauty Law. As for my female, she can't even find her way into the pipes now. She just lets the flow bring her to a corner to sleep. When she can't feed anymore, i'll put her to sleep.
  2. Got pics of the 22 sexies? Thats worth a shot.
  3. Thanks for the good news man hehe. Sad la, pretty heartbreaking to her struggle. I'll continue treating and hope for the best.
  4. Hey guys, My female C.Lineatus has a swim bladder problem. She was totally fine up until 2 days ago when she started swimming funny. This is what she looks like as of yesterday :- She's really struggling to swim right. Breathing is hard as i imagine she's quite exhausted. She's also constipated, i've just spent five minutes watching her try to push one out. Just started running Nifurpirinol (Sera Baktopur Direct) in the QT. I've read anything from feeding peas to fasting for a few days as a treatment. What do you guys think?
  5. Thanks Law, you've been very helpful.
  6. Thanks for the replies guys, the whitish patch has sort of disappeared as of this morning so thats good news But with regards to the antibiotics mentioned, will it destroy my biological filter? I'm running two HOB's with biorings and various media. Junkai - You can't be serious bro, lost all!??! Sorry to hear man. I'm crossing my fingers for the cyphos I'll bring down some of the stuff you need if you end up with a few. Two of them have my name on it .
  7. Hi guys, I'm dealing with a fungal looking growth on a 3.5 inch male C.Lineatus. Here is a video of the specimen in quarantine :- At 27 seconds you can see it glancing to the right and revealing a white growth about an inch behind its eye. That growth has steadily been getting bigger. I've been treating it with melafix for the past few days and its not been working. Water quality is good with 20-30% water changes every day. The specimen is feeding well on NLS pellets, frozen mysis, frozen cyclopeeze and frozen artemia. Temps are at 27-28 degrees. I'm very worried at this point and would welcome any help
