  1. New Year new resolution!!! Family agreed to set up a NANO tank (1.5-2') instead, so I withdraw my sales and rethink all the equipment needed. Maybe will post for sales on those left over equipment. Can tell u I have plenty of Ehleim pumps, UV lights, etc.... Thank you all for your understanding and support. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! Thread closed for now.
  2. Just to add as I received many queries on the Chiller. Looks like many are interested in this. The RESUN Chiller CL650 is about 5 years old and never give me any problem, except the known compressor cut in sound for this model. Condition is 100% working before disconnected, flushed and packed in SEP 2009. So far received 1 PM to take both LR and Chiller and wish to deal on this weekend. Will try to post some pictures of the chiller tonight. Cheers!
  3. Hi, Got 1 tank of live rock to clear. Not sure how many are here, the tank is a 1m juwel tank. The rocks are standing on a stand. Maybe $20 take all? All the pumps and filters are still up to keep the water running. Also, RESUN Chiller CL650 - $80. Running well when it was removed a few months ago. Pickup at Jalan Besar area near Sim Lim tower. Pls PM me if interested. Thank U.
  4. Hi, Except that the opening pipe length a bit too short, and without a ball valve to shut for the initial flow start up. I dun see any problem liao.
  5. Hi Jun, It doesn't matter the inside size of the ball joint. Just able to fit can already. U sure can use a pail of water to try. The flow should be the same, because water pressure is the same, and placing it higher will not make much diff. shut the output with palm or ball joint, suck from the top opening till water comes out, and no more air bubbling up. Then, open the output wide, and u should see the flushing effect! Do not expect the trapped air in the "n" to clear up by itself, it will take quite some time even after you finish drain the pail, and only if you cover the top opening tightly. Also, pls recycle the testing water. Dun waste it. Cheers!
  6. Luckily, the leather is opening up again... cold sweat.
  7. Did he just see a ghost? Don't know what shock him, shrink until like that within a few minutes, where all the rest are ok. Hope it's alright, and recover.
  8. Finally to see this fellow move and crossing over to a stable rock from that empty shell. Growing too...
  9. Just a close up on that mushroom. Didn't buy it, but it just appeared by itself and grow until like that...???
  10. I was really worried about this fellow when it was bought home. The whole body was covered with white spots. Thought he will not last. So, kept feeding Garlic dipped seaweed and pallets. Now his skin is silky smooth. Or, did he find some SKII formula?
  11. Remember him? Need to enrol him for a slimming class...
  12. The Longnose Butterflyfish is my latest addition yesterday, and probably the last fish if all goes well. My Power Blue & Yellow Tangs are both playing in the Main tank liao. All looks health. Except, I really worry about this Longnose Butterflyfish, which is rather skinny. And the more I read from the forum, the more worry I'm getting, wasn't bufferfly fish that difficult to keep? Both are in the sump tank. The Bannerfish has wif me for almost a month liao. Eating very very well, and it's growing fat and wanting for food whenever I come close. So, no problem. In fact, it also like seaweed very very much! That's why the offer there. The Longnose Butterfly do seems it's strawing but not as eager as Mr. Banner. Probably still new. So, after I put the food in, I will half close the door to the sump, so that they will be disturb by our movement, and also for them to enjoy their food. Then, I realise the Longnose actually will spit water out of the surface! Hence Masters, do u know why it spit? Was that a normal behaviour or trying to tell me something that it's not happy about? I'm seriously worry about him, hence really need your advices. Thank you and Cheers!
  13. Well, looks like the Longfin Bannerfish will be staying in the sump for quite some time until he really pass the mushroom test, which should be conducted after the Yellow tang has well adapted and removed. BTW, not too sure why, but those coraline algae are everywhere. Check out the Prizm skimmer inlet.
  14. Here's the other 2 new babies. The Longfin Bannerfish was quite bitten by the Power Blue initially till I separate them. Now he have fully recovered and looks real handsome again. Hope that new bird dun bully him. Fortunately, so far so good. And yellow tang is eating well too. Especially that Red starfish, which I really hate but protected by my child & wife. See, stack so high also can reach. It will finish any Algae around, esp those dry seaweed, and it move real fast. So have to always serve in two bundles. While it eat one, and the tang can enjoy the other.
  15. Wa, looking back, it's already 4 months passed. Beside the 2 tangs gone heaven, more and more coraline algae, seems nothing much have changed. But about 4 weeks ago got my 1st Power Blue, and the long fin Bannerfish from Reb***. This time cannot give any more chance liao. Took that gangster Damsel from the Sump, and put them in the Sump for good conditioning and feed them fat fat. At the same observe very very closely on any illness. Finally all looks good. So move the Power Blue to the main tank, while I got a yellow tank from 110 today, and will let her go through the same conditioning period. Can see Mr. Gangster Damsel is inside a nice prison, while the Power Blue are serve with dry seaweed with the red clip. Hope all will do fine. Really love them all.
  16. For me, just gradually shorten the lightup duration, and they eventually all gone. Else, still doing well. Cheers!
  17. Not sure what's wrong with yours, but here some guide lines based on your pic. If out of the range, then it may not work. Cheers!
  18. See how BIG. Seems too big for my tank.
  19. Today passed by Se*Li**, kanna "con" to get this big Blue tang at 20 bucks. He said take the big one better, very strong and should able to adapt fast. So brought him home. Wow, so BIG!!! Hope he don't ...
  20. Got this don't know tang 2 weeks ago. He keep eyeing on this Algae and I only have this 1 and only 1 stock here. And it seems to be his best food. Today saw he shit almost 3mm thick shit, can eat and shit, I think he should be doing well. But what tang is this? And the Algae? Anywhere selling? Scare he finish...no more.
  21. Ha, ha, I think so too. In fact already doing some gardening now and then. BTW, that bush on the left is actually macro algae that I kept in the sump. But the red knob starfish bought by my wife, eat until almost 'bo-ta', so I brought it up to the main tank, turn the rock over and let it grow by itself, then trim slowly. Have not upgrade the light, so very minimum coral. Actually nothing much, just maintaining only lah... Bros here are all very encouraging. And, Lightningstrike is my idol! Thanks!
