hi guys i have enquiry on type of sps.... to clarify, with these prices i dont think we can get e exotic stuff haha... just e normal stuff. eg pink birdsnest, pink milli, green milli, stags, some blue stuff if any...digis, etc...
we can also go to the shop to select on the spot if u are ok...
anyway mi tank now only has a monti cap! hahaha. start slow n easy! so yeah this offer more applicable for those who wan to start up a sps tank from scratch and want to maximise your budget

Hi zorden, have you tried switching the pump on and off again? My HNS aquabee pump roars at time also and that's only because it was not properly prime and cannot operate properly. I dun get any skimmate with that. But when it is operating well, it is very silent and produces alot more bubble.
will try again but then years ago, hns skimmer is a work horse with loud noise. but will try again..

hi guys, since CNY is up and coming, and we know we have to do up our tanks again, i am organising a mini bulk purchase. i need about 2 or 3 more guys to share a bulk purchase of SPS. since each colony is abit large for me, i rather go for frags. plus we can get more variety for the same price.
once we have the required pax, we will buy and frag the sps on the spot or at the shop. i only need frags, whoever want can take the plugs...
with a budget of $100 each for 3 pax, we can get around 12 pieces of frags, can also negotiate for more!
more bang for your buck plus they can grow out as well. hope to deal at end of this mth when we get our pay

My hns 2 pump is roaring.. well its consider louder then most skimmer. not the bubble but its the pump noise. I wonder is there any quieter skimmer to recommend. prefer a outsump that is suitable for 200 gallons at least.

hey guys realised my skimmer not skimming as it should be. i suspect maybe e pump needlewheel needs replacement. anyone has experience changing the needlewheel? where is the recommended place to get it? AM?

My tank is 18 inch tall, do i stll need to put it higher up. Yes t5 will be 8 inch away from the tank.
