1/3 horse 1000watt? cant be wat. thought it was 250watt? I am using the OEM version of Artica 1/2 horse. Daiel. The cooler unit has been removed from the chiller to be relocated in the cabinet. It will be route via the return pump to the tank. I will be using 2 return pump. one will be connected to the cooler unit before returing to tank.

The piping behind the stand is a water inlet and outlet plus copper tubing for the Chiller. The chiller will be located in the balcony. Do not want the hot air from the chiller in my living room.

Hi Bros. As per all the planning, the big day has come. The tank installation! ke ke A little recap of the plans before the end results.

The overflow is hanging outside the tank and will be concealed inside the cabinet. It wll not be seen from the lving room side as it will be conceal by a false wall. It will be a 3 side tank. Below is a top view.

I would love to have a 5 by 3 tank. just concern on the weight and the foot print. Cos it will be a divider tank. worry it look too bulky and although it will sit on a beam, still concern it may be too heavy for HDB leh!!

I need one that do the cabinet and tank. I know the one in Kalantan lane but need a carpenter.

Initiate plans is something like this. The hood is to extend all the way up the false ceiling. a side cabinet with display shelves and small cabinet below to hide inlet and outlet water pipe and the chiller copper coolant piping to the balcony. Have already got my plumber to pull water point to where the tank would be and a drainage pipe to the balcony dranage for easy water change. what can i say. i am a lazy person.

Hi All, I have been MIA for too long. Got a new place and nearly completion of renovation and is putting up plans for a new tank. So was thinking if any bros here have any good tank maker to recomend. Currently think of a 5x2.5x2.5 ft tank as a divider between the living and dinning area. Appreciate recommendation and suggestion. Thanks in advamce.

The tank will be used as a diverder between living / dinning so 3 side visible. if get starfire glass will burn hole in pocket... cannot la... must get projector and plasma TV more important! ke ke

I have the design in mind liao. Just need to find a tank maker that make quality tank and cabinet. Some handywork very crappy. Glass thickness probably 12mm if can afford of cos a 15mm better

Thanks for the info. My current tank was made by Octo. But think he MIA. Some issues with Reefers / Shops. I just got an EA in Sengkang so planning a new tank. Either another 5ft or a 6ft. Probably a 5ft height 2ft and depth 2.5. Since last tank make un contactable. so looking for new one.Thus am looking for a new tank maker. Any recommendations / suggestion would be appreciated. Hi all, sorry to hear all these unhappy things have happened. Have been inactive for long time. I met David a few weeks ago, had learned that a close member is very sick and he has been very busy and has been inactiver in his trade for months. I really hope all these issues can be resolved as I can sympathise with the stress and unhappiness you guys are going through. Hopefully this is all a huge misunderstanding as this is after a hobby to be enjoyed.

With all packaging and accessories. going to upgrade to the 40GB model. I got 500+cds and 600+ reocrds to store so 20GB not enough. 20GB can store 5000+ songs.

Thats the same amount of water as a 5x2x2.5. 1/4 should work if you dont intend on MH light. Else more advisable to go for the 1/3. Unless you dont mind the chiller running for hours at a time.
