For me as long as the sea water still smells like sea water and clear (not milky or with a stench) it's good for me, no facts to proof what i say but normally people try to use it as soon as possible to avoid all "live" bacteria dying off (1-2 weeks max)

Selling as not planning to upgrade in near future, currently using deltec mce600 and mce 300 for my two small tank because i always trust deltec skimmer. Do note that this skimmer is quite tall for most cabinet and do take this into consideration before buying, testing will be provided (on normal water as i dont have much sea water).
